Perfect for a cosy night in: The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches by Sangu Mandanna – a book review by Salvia

This bewitching book is about a witch named Mika Moon, who belongs to a secret society of witches that meets briefly every three months. She is very isolated, as there are not many other witches in the UK, and there is also a strict rule in her world: contact with other witches is strictly forbidden as it would draw too much attention to them. However, Mika breaks this rule by becoming active on social media, where she posts witch-related videos. One day, she receives an anonymous message from someone asking if she could teach three young witches magic at Nowhere House. Initially suspicious, she then decides to check out the house. Little does she know that she is about to find a family to last a lifetime.
